Tips for your Valentine’s Day Date Night:
Valentine’s Day date night is all about staring into one another’s eyes in anticipation for that one perfect kiss! Here are a few helpful hints from Sarah on how to get perfect starry eyes and a polished pout for your next date night out!
– Bright eyes are in!! Go for shadows that compliment your eye color with shimmer. Put a light shadow in the inner corners of the eye and right below the brow bone to give you an illuminated look. For a smokey look, use a darker shadow in the outer part of your lid. Try Mary Kay mineral eye color spun silk, honey spice, coal or espresso $6.50
– Use an eye liner to define your eyes. To soften your look, swap your black liner for a deep brown or charcoal instead. Try Mary Kay deep brown or steely $12.
– Mascara, Mascara, Mascara ladies. To make the most of your lashes apply your mascara in a side to side motion and pull up. This will separate and coat each lash. Don’t even think about going out with only one coat either. Consider making 2 coats of mascara your new normal. Don’t under estimate the power of your lashes. Try Mary Kay ultimate or lash love mascara in black $15.
– Lips. The most important part if you’re looking to end the night with a kiss 🙂 Start by using Mary Kay Satin lips set to get your lips kissably soft in the morning lip mask and balm $18. Personally, I love to line my entire lip with lip liner and finish with a gloss. The liner will be a longer lasting color than lip stick and the shiny gloss will draw attention to your lips. Think your too old for gloss? Studies show that wearing gloss can make you look 10 years younger, so don’t skip it. Try Mary Kay Nurishine Plus gloss in 14 shades $14.
