The Thread Affect 
Shelf #3 is my favorite. I like bookshelves to have plenty of books on them and that one seemed the best balance between book and stuff. Some others looked too styled for my taste or had too much stuff.

Wow that is a lot of shelving and bric a brac! Although I love the look of these, I’d never be able to fill even a teeny bit of that shelving. But, if I ever live somewhere with this kind of roominess, these would definity be the way to go. Thanks for the idea!

That is also my problem! I absolutely LOVE all these inspiring pictures of bookshelf decorating but I don’t have enough knickknacks to display on the shelves! We have started collecting books and other miscellaneous objects from all our trips instead of just buying random things at stores that hold no meaning to us so hopefully they will be full before we know it!

I agree…collecting things that actually mean something to you is preferable than simply buying things that “fill up the space.”
