Champagne Bubbles

Wedding gift tradition states that making it to year four of marriage earns a couple a celebration full of fruit and flowers.  Instead of participating in the gift giving aspect of our anniversary we decided to drive to the Chicago Botanic Garden to immerse ourselves in gardens of gorgeous flowers and a peaceful picnic of white wine and strawberries (fruit).  Although it was an extremely hot and humid day (97!), we thoroughly enjoyed uncovering a new hidden gem of the city while actively partaking in the celebration of our anniversary.  Here’s to an amazing four years of marriage and the next eighty that lie ahead!
