The weather in Australia is only getting warmer so I am seizing every possible opportunity to layer the few cold weather pieces I brought with me together with some summer favorites. By pairing sandals, pastel colored jeans, and bright coral nail polish (summer staples) with a light wool striped sweater and a classic navy blazer (fall wardrobe essentials), I was able to balance the bright colors and transition my summer pieces into fall. On a completely different note, I forgot to pack a curling iron and my straightened hair is not playing well with the humidity here so I improvised with this low knotted braid bun. What do you think? Do you have any other hair styling suggestions perfect for the heat? How else do you transition your summer pieces?
French Connection Sweater | Silence & Noise Navy Blazer (on sale for $49 in 12 colors) (similar here, here) | Forever 21 Mint Jeans (similar) and Necklace | Guess via Marshall’s Heels | Michael Kors Jet Sport Gold Watch | Marc by Marc Jacobs Purse (last seen here) | Express Diamond Earrings | OPI Cajun Shrimp
Oooh this outfit is so gorgeous! It’s a great way to style mint jeans for the Fall!

I split my hair into two pigtails, braided each, tied them in a knot, and pinned the ends in! I will try to do a DIY beauty post on it in the next week and will let you know when I do! 🙂
