The Blues

MaxiBlues-3Normally when it comes to shopping I am a sales junkie. If something isn’t at least thirty percent off at a big brand store it is highly unlikely it will be lucky enough to go home with me. This maxi from Gap was an immediate exception to the rule due to the blue and white chevron print, the triangular cut neckline, and the ability to style and layer this dress for both casual and dressy occasions as well as both warm and cooler weather. The small pattern of the dress kept the all blue color palette (denim shirt, navy heels, nails) fun and fresh.

FYI: Other people must have had the exact same thought since this maxi has been sold out online since the first week it debuted on Gap’s website, but check out your local store and similar styles here, here, and here. Oh and I am still debating on purchasing this maxi from Piperlime that is basically a work of art. Seriously, how beautiful is that dress? To buy or not to buy? Isn’t that always the question?
