For as long as I can remember combining black and navy was completely taboo, the worst of the worst, something only old business men were caught doing. Well call me a crazy rebel, but ladies and gentlemen (if any are reading this) I’m becoming quite fond of this duo. What are your thoughts on breaking this age-old rule?!

I’ve been doing it for years and I love it! (;

I love neutrals together. I remember someone harassing me about wearing black and brown together. I LOVE the golden touch with the belt!

Thanks so much! Keep on wearing that black and brown, all black with brown boots is one of my favorite go-to looks for it’s ease and chicness!

I love navy and black together! And $10 for that belt! I may need to purchase that.

You should! Since getting it in the mail I’ve worn in 5 times with dresses, tunics, and cardigans in the last two weeks, which can show how versatile it is or the fact that I really need more belts in my wardrobe! Either way, it was a great purchase for $10!

Never new it was taboo:o) Can’t follow a rule you don’t know exists. Makes you think about how you live compared to other people in the world. I love navy and black and you look great:o)

So true!! I guess it was one of those rules that always was in the back of my head just like no white after Labor Day or no black and brown paired together, both rules that I consistently break these days! 🙂

I say it’s a do as long as people can tell it’s intentional!
