What I Wore // Traveling Home

In just eight short days, the husband and I will finally be on our way home to Iowa to celebrate the Christmas holiday with our families. I can barely contain my excitement to the extent that I am already pre-packing in my head. Outfit // Pink for NBCAM

First things first, can we talk about how extremely bright this pink top photographs? The color you actually see here even has the saturation turned way down to spare your eyes, my apologies. To take part in my work event this past weekend supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I layered a pattern blouse under my favorite pink peplum tank to make it fall, work, and event appropriate. I just adore how easily a piece can transition to a new season or event with the simple addition of layers. Our weekend plans were unfortunately drowned by the beautiful Pacific Northwest weather (read: rain) forcing us indoors to finish a few unfinished DIY projects and errands.
